DIY Beauty Masks For All Skin Types.

thSB6I3LPQ   Who doesn’t love a comforting, hydrating, rejuvenating facial mask? Better yet, who doesn’t love being able to simply walk into their kitchen and just whip one up? Ideally one should apply a facial mask 1-3 times a week, but let’s face it that can become quite costly. Here are a few great DIY masks that won’t break the bank.

Egg Whites and Yogurt Mask:

This amazing, simple 2 ingredient mask is moisturing and soothing – Separate the egg whites from a couple eggs and place them in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt. Mix well and apply to face. Leave on face for a few minutes then rinse face in warm water, followed by a warm washcloth.

Egg White and Lemon Juice:

Having a night out and want a quick skin tightening home remedy? Then here is a good option. Crack an egg and separate the egg white into a bowl. Add a few drops of lemon juice and whisk the egg white until it is light and frothy. Use a brush to apply this mixture on your skin and then let it dry completely. Wash off with lukewarm water and you will immediately see that your skin looks taut and glowing. Enlarged pores are also tightened temporarily by this method.

Oatmeal and Yogurt: Great basic face mask that will cleanse and rejuvenate the skin.

  • 1 tbsp oatmeal, finely ground
  • 1 tbsp live, organic plain yogurt
  • A few drops of honey

Mix yogurt oatmeal together in a small bowl.

Add a few drops of warm honey. To do this, warm a spoon under hot water for a minute, then add a few drops of honey to the spoon.

Stir the honey into the yogurt and oatmeal mixture.

Apply the mask to the face. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse off with several splashes of warm water. Follow with a warm washcloth.

Apply moisturizer.

Olive Oil Mask:

Olive oil is a rich source of vitamin C, D and E  and antioxidants which helps in regenerating and moisturizing the skin. Lemon juice brightens the skin when it is mixed with Olive oil, as it helps to remove black heads and wrinkles.

  •  1 Spoon of Olive oil
  • 1/2 Spoon of lemon juice.

Mix the ingredients and apply to face. Wait 15 minutes then rinse with water. This mask helps to have glowing skin.
