I was first made aware of this mascara from a friend of mine that had posted the product on FB. Now you must know this friend is not a big makeup person, nor does she EVER comment and post on such. However, she has great taste all around, and therefore I was intrigued. I then (as I always do) proceeded to…research.
3D Fiber Lash is one of the many products sold by Younique. Younique is one of the newest direct sales companies that launched in September, 2012. The company specializes in organic, all-natural, mineral based cosmetics that are free of parabens, oils, synthetic fragrances, and cheap fillers. (Gotta love that!)
Now back to the 3D Fiber Lash. If I was told moving forward that I could only use one product out of my makeup bag…What would that be? I would choose mascara. Mascara is the one beauty product that alone has the ability to really make your face and eyes pop! That said, other than special occasions I do not wear it. Why? Several reasons. I am constantly left disappointed (even from the high-end brands) with the lack of length and volume, I despise the fallout on the cheeks/under eyes, the often coon look, the heavy feel, and absolutely dread the removal process. That is until now!
3D Fiber Lash lasts approximately 2-3 months. I can honestly say I’ve never had lashes like this before and I’ve used Latisse! Not to mention it costs much less. Not only does it create crazy length and volume, No fallout! In the past I was always forced to use eye makeup remover for mascara. 3D Fiber Lash removes easily with normal face wash and while wearing there is no heavy feel. I also love that you can build on it, creating the look you are going for…more natural for daytime or a dramatic night look.
How does it work The 3D Fiber Lash comes in two separate tubes. One being the fibers and the other a black transplanting gel. The fibers are actually 100% natural fibers taken from green tea. When applying, you first apply the black transplanting gel to your lashes. While still wet you then apply the Moodstruck fibers. Reapply the transplanting gel a second time to secure the fibers onto your lashes. VaVaVoom! That’s it. Now you do want to do one eye at a time and the directions will also say to first apply your normal mascara. However, you do not have to do this. Many do not (I don’t), just see what works best for you.
Here I am with only ONE coat of 3D Fiber Lash Mascara. I can honestly say that my lashes have NEVER looked like this, even with leading high-end brands.
